Actively searching for a Quality Technician in the Newport, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $19.00-$21.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Performs required incoming/in process inspections and final inspections/tests at regular intervals
- Documents and reports, as needed, the results of the inspections/audits
- Performs accurate mechanical, physical and visual inspection of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies and/or assemblies as per inspection plans and/or specification requirements
- Audits production processes as directed by the Supervisor
- Performs basic calibration of measuring and test equipment
- Read and interpret specifications and part drawing blueprints
- Follow written inspection and test procedures
- Communicate and work with other company personnel in identifying and resolving quality issues
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping activities as it pertains to quality, safety and work rules and regulations
- May be required to work during alternate shifts
Requirements:
- Experience in performing process audits preferred
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred
- Ability to identify causes of process failures
- Computer data entry basic skills
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm OR 8:00am-4:30pm
