Seeking a QA Lab Tech in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time third shift position starting at $20.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Testing rubber batch stock, raw materials, mixing and calender WIP, as necessary
- Complete process checks during production and obtain samples for testing and retention, conduct audits of all primary manufacturing processes
- Secondary responsibilities are to perform laboratory compounding process and analysis; review data, analyze results and make adjustments until desired results are achieved
- Measure scorch, run rheometers and test hardness of samples
- Operate all lab equipment, calibrate instruments and equipment and routine computer entry
- Responsible for vulcanized rubber (finished goods) testing
Requirements:
- Associate degree in laboratory technology, chemistry, or biology, or a Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing lab environment is highly valued
Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:00am
