Immediately seeking a Maintenance Mechanic, 3rd Shift in the Newport, NH area. This is a full time third shift position starting at $28.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs according to company guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring that all paperwork and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Diagnoses electrical, mechanical, conveyors, plumbing and similar problems, and applies appropriate corrective action
- Adjusts plant equipment ensuring the proper performance and safe operating conditions
- Performs various “in shop” repairs to include welding, milling, machining and other related activities
- Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
- Participates in company and departmental training on policies, procedures and work methods
- Perform building type maintenance/custodial /sweep and mop when necessary
Requirements:
- Basic mathematics and reading comprehension

- Basic Welding and Fabrication Welding
- Blueprints and schematics
- Conveyors and belting
- Safe Operating procedures
Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am
