Seeking a Loader Operator/Mill Hand in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time first shift position offering up to $20.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Identify log species and grade marks
- Pile and sorting of logs
- Communication with yard personnel to facilitate smooth operation of yard activities
- Work with log scaler
- Keep equipment cabs clean
- Provide customer service to customers and vendors
- Assist the mill supervisor as needed
- Assist with all incoming and outgoing truck loads
- Fueling equipment at end of every shift
- Communication regarding inventory, row changes, stain, other log related issues with Sawmill Manager or other effective employees
- Snow removal process as needed
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
