Immediately seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $27-$37/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions
- Support all aspects of plant operations involving electrical & mechanical maintenance by responding to plant service calls under the direction of the maintenance general supervisor, department supervisor and/or the production shift supervisor
- Assignments include maintaining and repairing existing production equipment, i.e., motors, variable speed drives, PLC’s, hoists, etc., as well as equipment modification and new equipment installation work
- Assignments include maintaining production equipment and plant operations consisting of all process and packaging equipment
- Utilize the Shop Work Order system (CMMS) to accurately track maintenance costs and for recording status and completion of all work performed
- Must be able to review entire job scope, order all necessary parts through contacting vendors and or working through stock room along with performing all installation requirements
- Obtain training & certification on plant safety and housekeeping rules, and any mandated corporate or government regulations regarding environmental, safety and health issues
- Demonstrate safe work methods and practices daily, while working in the professional manner expected of a skilled tradesman
- Understand and maintain plant blueprints, maintenance manuals, operating instructions electrical drawings and schematics
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Leadership skills a must
- 3 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Trade or vocational school preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability
- Strong computer and communication skills with internal staff and outside suppliers
- Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm
