Seeking a Filler/Batch Maker in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $18.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately mixes different types of paint, stain and coatings to create the appropriate color and consistency for each specific job
- Measuring and combining chemicals to ensure the mixed liquid matches the desired color sample.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack
- Ensuring routine checks on paint mixtures to ensure quality control
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Completely documentation and applying labels to finished product
- Have the ability to accurately weigh product using a variety of scales
Requirements:
- Experience as a paint mixer preferred
- Strong math and reading skills
- Attention to detail
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stand for an extended period of time
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish colors
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
