Seeking a Custodian in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time, second shift position with a starting wage of $17.35/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, dust, wax and maintain floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Clean cafeteria area
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Carpet cleaning
- Empty, trash in classrooms
- To maintain storage and custodial areas in a clean and orderly manner
- Move furniture, equipment and materials throughout the facility and the District as directed
- Report any unusual or safety related conditions to Day custodian, Facility Director and Building Principal
- Perform snow and ice removal as required by weather conditions ensuring safe access and egress to all school facilities, including all walkways and entryways
- Repair basic physical, mechanical and electrical items within assigned areas
- Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Ability to climb a minimum of 10 feet vertically.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Hours: Monday–Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm
