In immediate need of a CNC Machine Operator in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering up to $20/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be performed
- Perform diversified operations on numerical control machining centers
- Perform a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or other related operations to close and interrelated tolerances
- Review setup sheets and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished workpiece
- Attach fixtures to machine bed and position and secure workpiece in fixture according to setup instructions
- Select and install cutting tools in machine spindle or magazine
- Enter commands to retrieve preprogrammed machine instructions from database
- Manipulate controls and enter commands to index cutting tool to specified set point and to start machine
- Observe and listen to machine operations to detect malfunctions, such as worn or damaged cutting tools
- Change cutting tools and location of workpiece during machining process as specified in setup instructions
- Perform a variety of inspection and gaging operations to insure maintenance of quality standard and specifications
Requirements:
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions
- Able to apply basic math skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing and/or CNC Machine Operations
- Knowledge of CNC Controllers
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal communications
- Able to work well with others in a team based environment
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
- Is self motivated and persistent to overcome obstacles
Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm, Friday OT as needed
