In search of a CDL A Driver in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time first shift position offering up to $25.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Operating a dual axle 28’ flatbed to transport lumber from our sawmill to our processing facility approximately 1/3 mile away (multiple trips daily)
- Loading and unloading will be done by existing employees if needed but the option is there for the candidate to operate fork lift if possible
- Candidate responsible for removing small pieces of wood (bunks) from each pack as they are loaded on the truck
- Candidate is responsible for strapping the load on each trip but does not have to tarp anything
Requirements:
- Active Class A CDL license is required
- Ability to see, read, and follow instructions/procedures/policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and cooperation
Hours: Varies daily/weekly
