In immediate need of a Buyer/Planner in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering a highly competitive annual salary.
Responsibilities:
- Procures materials, components, supplies and services for the manufacture of devices and products
- Plan, schedule and monitor goods and services to meet the production requirements of the Company
- Maintain material, supplier and planning system data within the internal MRP system
- Maintain strong working relationships and communications with customers, manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time delivery
- Proactively report product and material availability issues
- Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of materials to meet demand signals from MRP
- Ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained in all functions and responsibilities of the job
- Inventory management: Support reporting, inventory parameters, reduction and min max levels
Requirements:
- BS in a business discipline, Bachelor’s equivalent, certification OR relevant work experience
- 5-years of material buying and planning in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is an asset
- Experience with MRP / ERP systems
- Experience in supply chain management and inventory control
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally and to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Must be organized and able to balance multiple priorities
- Must be goal focused and committed to completing task
- Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
- Detail orientated, patient and diligent
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
