Immediately seeking a Production Associate in the Newport, NH area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Complying, supporting, and improving safety policies and procedures
- Achieving high quality along with efficiency, and improving the quality of product we send to internal and external customers
- Work quickly and efficiently in all of our tasks
- Being punctual around start and break times, and making the time count while on the production floor
- Working well with others on expected tasks, and later helping to move the team forward with a positive attitude and constructive inputs
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all employees
- Find and respond to safety, quality, and productivity concerns in a timely manner
- Continuously improve our operations and work environment
- Promote from within whenever possible
- Manufacture heavy-duty heating solutions such as flanged immersion heaters, process tanks, and customized heater arrays
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently
- Continuous standing required
- Frequent walking, handling, and reaching/working overhead required
- Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling required
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required
- Pass company color perception test
- Work environment involves exposure to excessive noise, being near moving machinery, exposure to chemicals & inks with splash risk, and exposure to potential arm and wrist fatigue
- Must wear hearing protection, eye protection, and safety shoes
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
