Actively seeking a Material Handler in the Hanover, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $23.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble job line-ups and distribute to appropriate sources (as back-up to the Finishing Coordinator)
- Log in material and consolidate materials, by job, within the racks
- Adhere to daily schedule and plan flow of materials, based upon the schedule
- Weigh leftover materials to ensure supplies are sufficient to complete short jobs
- Sort and arrange all pallets and skids
- Dispose of waste skids
- Bring mail skids to the loading dock and weigh as needed
- Check and maintain batteries on lift trucks
- Operate the skid turner and power lift trucks
- Act as back-up Bindery Assistant as needed
- Adhere to established Finishing Department equipment procedures
- Demonstrate good housekeeping attitudes and practices
- Support the CJK Group Core Values effort throughout the Company
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, while maintaining an overall awareness of safety within the workplace
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned or required
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills required
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to learn the job and perform work productively and safely
- Reliable; good attendance is required
- Required to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace
Hours: 20-25 hous/week, 7:00am-3:00pm
