Seeking a Shop Mechanic in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering up to $23.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools and manuals to determine repairs
- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Assist with ordering parts and maintaining inventory
Requirements:
- Vocational or technical training preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a mechanic (automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, some Saturdays 6:00am-Noon
