In immediate need of a Shipper/Receiver in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $19.92/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct movement of product, work-in-process, finished goods, and materials for maximum efficiency
- Wrap product for shipment, operate material handling equipment, such as hand jacks and motorized fork lifts
- Move palletized material with hand or motorized fork trucks including loading/unloading trucks and moving material within the plant
- Maintain accurate records of material transfers from work-in-process to finished goods, operating scales accurately, using computer skills to produce various shipping/receiving reports, prepare packing slips, bills of lading
- Arrange orders and communicate with transportation suppliers regarding shipping and receiving of goods
- Ensures communication/information flow between departments and shifts is maintained and effective
- Uses computer system to accurately and effectively track inventory transactions and coordinates shipping/receiving functions
Requirements:
- Previous assembly/manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and cooperation
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, climb, grasp
- Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
