Staffing Agency Opens New Office

By DAVID AQUINO, Marketing Manager

The cold snap that hit the area in early February caused extensive damage locally at state office buildings and a handful of businesses, including a well-established staffing agency.

TPi Staffing’s new Claremont office at 109 Pleasant Street opened its doors early March 2023

Burst pipes flooded the TPi Staffing office on Dunning Street when temperatures dropped well below zero, forcing the business to pack up shop and setup a temporary office at nearby American Brush Co.

To return the favor, the agency hosted an on-site hiring event at the manufacturer’s Industrial Drive location in mid-Februrary. TPi Claremont staff continued to conduct business as usual.

Scott Ryan, TPi Staffing president, soon after signed a lease and secured a place for his company’s new office at 109 Pleasant Street.

The historic brick building on Pleasant that houses TPi’s new permanent location underwent recent improvements including new flooring, a fresh coat of paint, and brand signage.

The TPi Claremont team, staffing specialist Dorothy Clarke, staffing administrator Mary Santaw, and technical recruiting manager Casey Pisani, have settled into the new spot and are ready to provide expert service to job seekers and employers alike.

“Our aim will be better local exposure and community involvement,” said Pisani. “Being right behind the high school is a great opportunity for graduates. Also, with River Valley Community College nearby, we can connect to a substantial labor pool.”

To celebrate, TPi Staffing will open its doors at its new office location at 109 Pleasant Street, Suite 101 on Monday, March 6. Refreshments, prizes, and hundreds of jobs will be offered to all who attend.
