Immediately seeking an Optical Technician II in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $30.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Forms, grinds and polishes optical material with the expectation of providing our customers with outstanding product quality, service and value
- Proactively, with attention to detail, and with little guidance fulfills production requirements through single or various process steps within a work cell
- Sets-up and operates equipment such as grinders and polishers or runs a workstation
- Supports a comprehensive cellular manufacturing system that governs product, processes and systems
- Teams and proactively communicates with work cell personnel and department leads to support and ensure product meets the customer’s quality, service and value expectations
- Identifies the mechanical and optical product specifications and then uses inspection tools and inspection methodologies to verify work performed
Requirements:
- Shop Math skills
- Ability to operate Shop machinery in a safe manner
- Understands and uses safety equipment
- Able to effectively communicate
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm OR 8:00am-4:00pm
