Actively seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering a starting wage of $80,000-$95,000/year.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/implement system improvements to increase all aspects of efficiency
- Evaluate/develop manufacturing methods by applying knowledge of product design, manufacturing processes, researching tooling, interacting with clients, vendors and internal team members
- Design tooling and fixtures as required
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S programs
- Identify and implement cost saving programs
- Identify and lead corrective action efforts to production, product and equipment issues
- Attend workshops and continuous education programs
Requirements:
- A 2-year degree or a 4-year degree required in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering
- Minimum of 5-years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a CNC-based production environment
- Strong overall knowledge of production processes, equipment/related systems, materials and tooling
- Quality Management Systems knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid presentation ability
- Fluent CAD experience (Solid Works) and CAD/CAM experience; ideally MasterCam
- Proficiency with all Microsoft products and ideally JobBoss or similar MRP/ERP software
- Strong experience planning and implementing Lean Manufacturing/5S programs
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
