Immediately seeking a Hose Assembler in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift postition offering up to $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test fire hose in accordance with National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA} requirements
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Take precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components
- Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- Check output to ensure the highest quality
- Keep a detailed and accurate count of your production
- Meet production goals on a daily basis
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Maintain working areas clean
- Keep records of production quantities and time
- Report on issues,malfunction, or defective parts
- Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
- 3-6 months of manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity
- Ability to read and follow instructions as represented in manuals, drawings, schematics, etc
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Ability to focus on reaching set production targets
- Ability to manage self and work efficiently
Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm
