Immediately seeking a General Carpenter in the Claremont, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $17.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Read, apply, and understand tape measure
- Lift and carry 80 lbs. frequently
- Layout and frame wall and floor components
- Use Pneumatic nailers, circular saw, sawzall, and other power tools
- Follow safety guidelines
- Measure and cut lumber accurately
Requirements:
- Must have your own basic hand tools: hammer, tape measure, square and chalk
- Construction experience is a plus
- Experience with light demolition and/or restoration is preferred
- Must be familiar with power and hand tools
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, with some Saturdays 6:00am-Noon
