Immediately seeking a Poultry Farm Associate in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $16/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in Farm Caretaker Training Program
- Learn basic farm duties to include proper feeding techniques, waterer inspections, ventilation concepts, mortality recording, weighing birds, basic bird health, litter and nest maintenance, and poultry handling method
- Maintain an assigned building, collect and record eggs, load broilers/fowl as directed
- Operate farm machinery and equipment in a safe manner, comply with Job Safety Rules, Biosecurity Regulations, and Bird Welfare Policy
- Other duties as required
- Experience caring for animals is a plus
Requirements:
- Safely lift 50 pounds to chest level
- Perform repetitive work motions such as lifting, bending, kneeling and climbing of stairs
- Works with live animals
Hours: Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Saturday 5:45am-4:00pm OR 5:45am-2:15pm
