Immediately seeking an Engineering Manager in the Keene, NH area. This is a full time first shift position offering $100K-$120K/year.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing effective organizational planning and leadership, working with key stakeholders, customers and suppliers to deliver business solutions which enhance safety, quality, delivery, performance, and profitability
  • Set group goals and determine priorities for areas of accountability
  • Prioritize tasks and direct personnel to execute initiatives necessary to achieve goals
  • Provide concepts, prototyping, designs and solutions for new and/or existing manufacturing equipment, tooling, and new product and line extension business opportunities
  • Initiate and manage continuous improvement projects to improve operational performance
  • Work closely with manufacturing to develop, coordinate, and implement technical instruction and direction
  • Develop, communicate and manage accountability of site project management initiatives and priorities
  • Ensure direct reports utilize appropriate project management tools
  • Provide hands-on support to achieve timely resolution to manufacturing performance issues
  • Lead by example, applying sound troubleshooting methodologies in the investigation and corrective action of root cause as they pertain to equipment, instrumentation, processes and/or product; PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act)
  • Develop expense/capital budgets related to the Engineering Department
  • Perform ROI analyses to justify projects
  • Prepare and process documentation to include specification changes, change requests, validation documents, deviations, standard operating procedures and work instructions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline is required
  • 10+ years of experience in high paced manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience in wire/cable design and manufacturing
  • 3+ years of prior demonstrated managerial/leadership experience
  • Project team leadership
  • Electrical/electronic systems experience is a plus
  • Ability to work hours, as required, that are appropriate to completing projects and tasks on schedule

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
