In immediate need of a Cooler Team Member in the Alstead, NH area. This is a full time first shift position starting at $19.00/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming syrup-weigh, grade, taste, and record applicable information
- Unload syrup drum deliveries and verify accompanying paperwork is accurate and complete
- Wait on producers purchasing field run syrup
- Select and prepare field run syrup for outgoing shipments
- Test syrup for invert sugar as needed for production runs
- Maintain a clean and organized cooler, including drum warehouse, pumping area, and silo rooms/silos
- Select appropriate syrup drums to fill silos and pump drums into silos
- Load drums on outgoing trucks
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and inventory segregation
- Follow Quality Control programs and report problems to manager immediately
Requirements:
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Math Skills-counting, basic arithmetic
- Reading and legible writing skills for record keeping
- Ability to grade syrup (differentiation of flavors and colors)
- Pallet jack experience preferred, or ability to become certified
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, rotating half-day Saturdays
